TO THAT FAIR LADY

The dew soaked her wet
even the chest above her breast
she had no hanky to wipe her tears
and her lips trembled but not out of fear

Her smile hanged in-between her lips
showing her mood of sorrow
and in slow motion she swayed her hips
but there where no eyes behind to follow

Her world was still lit by moonlight
yet she feared no fright
as she meandered her way
through the meandering pathway

Her perfume aroused the trees
giving them difficulty to breath
the thorns scraped the skin off her legs
leaving scars that couldn't bleed

But her heart had already bled
'cos her lover had been laid to rest
so she had no reason to fret
for she felt greater pains in the heart

Her fair skin was covered with black linen
hiding the fine and firm features within
a tear hanged in-between her eyelids
leaving a lustre in those captivating eyes

All of a sudden, her steps halted
her heart jumped
her tears fell
as her eyes gazed in awe

Just then, Mary Magdalene left
to tell the disciples first
then Peter took off and left
''Behold! There lies the empty tomb of Jesus''

T-DZANIE!
